Supply assurance: what you can review

Make the specification, evidence and approval points visible before committing an order. Inspection and document scope are agreed for each project.

Factory capability

Check which process and equipment make the selected product, how critical parameters are measured and which production records can be supplied. Document review, live video and an on-site visit provide different levels of evidence; agree the required scope.

Sample-to-production consistency

Record the sample ID, grade, drawing or specification revision, test conditions and customer decision. Link the production order to that reference and review material or process changes.

Inspection and shipment

Agree what will be inspected, by whom, at which production stage and against which limits. Match results, photographs, quantity, labels and packing records to the order and lot.

Issues and changes

Identify the affected lot, the observed result and the agreed requirement. Keep the investigation, proposed action, customer decision and follow-up result in the same issue record.

Example review records

Illustrative blank formats for discussing scope. These are not completed audits, customer testimonials or proof of past projects.

Specification comparison

Parameter / unit / target / tolerance / method / evidence / open question

Sample approval

Sample ID / grade / revision / measured result / decision / date

Shipment review

Order / lot / agreed checks / result / label and packing evidence / disposition

Change / issue record

Affected lot / requirement / observed deviation / proposed action / approval / verification

What a factory assessment establishes

A document review establishes what has been documented. A live review can show a process at a particular time. An agreed on-site audit or inspection can examine a defined scope. None of these automatically guarantees every future batch; lot-level checks and change records remain necessary.

Questions before a first order

Can I compare catalogue values directly?

Only when the grade, unit, direction, test method and conditions match. Use the qualification guide to identify missing conditions.

What should I request before production?

The selected specification revision, reference sample decision, agreed inspection scope and required batch documents. The exact package depends on the project.

How are supplier details handled?

Public technical guides use generic product identities. Source-specific information is handled within the project and applicable documentation requirements.
